Old coins, medals, books: numismatics for over 20 years
Numismatics (from the latin word "nomisma", coming from the greek "νομισμα", meaning coin ) is the study of coins and medals from an artistic, historical and economic point of view.
Numismatica Varesina, located in the centre of Varese, aims at popularizing numismatics and giving a valid support to collectors of ancient coins and numismatics materials through on-line purchasing.
All items are sorted by category depending on their typology. It's also possible to look for specific coins by performing a text search or, by using our conducted search, entering the desired features (metal, rarity, price range).
Theft in Veronafil
On 11/22/2024 after Veronafil we suffered the theft of several coins, almost all of them coming from Italian and non-Italian auctions.
We ask for the help of our loyal customers, hoping to find some specimens in the future, thus hoping to block the circulation of pieces that have become “dangerous” because they have been reported as stolen.
